Weird combination I know but they all have something in common for us today. Its that time of year where you get to take your family into the Bishop's office and try and teach your kids about tithing and why we pay it and how much you pay.
Our bishop knows our kids really well just with Josh and him serving together. Bishop Simon was trying to talk to Jarom about tithing since he is the oldest and should know most about it. Camrie kept trying to talk with them and also take the candy out of the bowl that was sitting there. Wesley is also trying to get attention by making lots of noise and trying to climb out of his car seat. And Cole,... well all of a sudden you hear him say " mom watch this!" and before I knew what was going on Cole kicks a volleyball that he had found under one of the seats in the office!!!
Now this wasn't just a little kick, it flies into the top corner of the room and bounced back. I grabbed the ball and him so quickly and looked up at Bishop. The look on his face was priceless. I don't know if he was more shocked about the ball flying through the air or because it was Cole. Everyone thinks are kids are just so good, well Cole just proved to someone else that yes my kids are not perfect and they can do some pretty crazy things.
We apologized and Cole was super embarrassed and Bishop's reply was " Well that is a first and will for sure be the story of the day!!"
