Wesley Clark Lewis

So my last post was Thursday and I said I would keep you posted. Well the very next day our little guy joined our family. We are so grateful to have a healthy and perfect little guy and just wanted to share a few pictures. its late and so the story will have to come later.

a little about his name... After I got pregnant I was laying in bed thinking of names that we could name the baby. I never wanted to use the name Clark ( my dad's middle name) because it reminded me of Lewis and Clark. But after my dad passed away I knew that if and when we had a boy his middle name would be Clark. I also knew that i couldn't use my dad's first name and so Clark would have to do. Then as I lay in bed, i was thinking of names and the name Wesley came to me. I love the name and even better it sounds like Leslie ( my dad's name, but he went by Les)

I had asked Josh if he liked and name and he liked it but I never talked about it again. Later Josh told me that he liked the name Ethan. So I was pretty sure we would name our little guy Ethan Clark Lewis. Only because Josh is never serious about names and this time he was and I also really liked the name! About 2 weeks ago I sent Ethan and Wesley over to him to see what he thought and he came back with liking Wesley more. I was so excited cause I really wanted that name all along, but didn't want to be pushy about it since I already was set on the middle name. I left it up to Josh once he was born and we both just thought that our little guy looked like a Wesley... So that is how Wesley got his name.
