BRING ON THE BABY

I have finished the bedding! I am so excited with how it turned out. I only had one mistake and that was on the crib sheet... the easiest thing to make, but you know that is always how it goes. I would of been fine had I not asked the ladies at the fabric store that messed me up. Luckily I was able to fix my mistake and the mess up is only on the bottom.
It was so much fun picking out the fabric, and putting it together. I had a certain look in my mind and trying to find the fabric to work was hard, but once I found it it was great. of course the fabric I went with was the most $$, but I was able to use 40% off coupons each time I went.
I hope to still make some pillows and wall hangings with the left over fabric and I want to make something to go over the window, but that can be later. My poor windows, we haven't done anything to the windows in any of the rooms and so they all have blankets hanging from them. So I guess I wont spoil her too much.
I think Josh is more excited to have this done just because when I get a project started I don't do anything else. Now I can go back to being a MOM again.

I LOVE it!!! You did a great job and the colors are so cute. Did you use a pattern or just make it up? I visited with your parents last night and it was so good to see them. Your mom told me about your relay and I just have to say that I am amazed!

Super cute bedding! I wish I had your sewing skills but I am working on it. I started a dress for Maddie and hope it turns out. Where did you get the fabric...know that JoAnn's is gone I need a new place.

How do you do it? I can't even get to my sewing machine!!! (not that I would know what to do once I got there). My boys seem to keep me from getting anything done. (Bird is attempting to reach up and help me type at this moment and I have to keep hitting backspace!)
Maybe I could just hire you to make me a matching set??!!!! We have matching families already! ha ha
