Who knew a 2 year olds party could be so fun...

So we had Jarom's birthday party on Saturday. It was so much fun, minus we couldn't keep it outside at the park because we were having the worst wind going on. We tried it for about 10 minutes and after everything pretty much getting blown off the table we brought it in side. If you can only imagine 14 people in our small condo. It was crowded but we made it work. We just ate and then let Jarom blow out candles and open presents. He was so dang cute.
I was finishing his cake when he got up from his nap and he was so excited. He just kept saying CAKE, CAKE!! If I can brag just a little, I am very proud of this cake. They are harder then you think. It makes me appreciate that show on cake decorating so much more!!!
Even better when we sang happy birthday he sang right along with us and then when he blew out the candles he was clapping saying yeeeeaaahhh!!! and then he    sang more!!!     So we thought what the heck, Josh lite the candles again and he blew them out again!! He would have kept going, but the blowing was turning more into spitting.
Jarom was also so cute opening the gifts. With everyone he opened he said either WOW, COOL or CUTE!!! He sure had us laughing.    Nick and Jess got him some "Cars" books. He isn't the best with sitting still for books but he loves these and will actually read them. Gabe and Avah got him the t-ball set.
Whitney got him an Mr Potato Head. Right when he saw the hat he tried to put it on. Even better tonight he started to wear the glasses that goes with it.
Gabe and Amy and kids gave him a shake and go car.
I know this is going to sound dumb but I cant believe within just a few days Jarom already seems older. It must be because this new baby is coming soon, but he just seems to act like such a big boy. I cant believe how much he is growing!!! Such a great kid!!!
