CALIFORNIA REDWOODS ARE AMAZING!

So from August 1st- 8th Josh's family had a family trip to northern California.WHAT AN AMAZING TIME.

thanks to Josh's dad we were able to have a great trip and tons of cool things.
If you have never been to the redwoods you have to go. They are called GIANTS, and its no lie. They are so big and so cool

This doesn't even do it justice, but they are so big. It took two pictures just to get the whole tree!!!!

We also got to go and see where Wayne grew up. We meet tons of great people that he grew up with as well. Its not every day that you meet people like this, they are so friendly and so loving. Wayne was very lucky to grow up around such amazing people.It was non stop fun for a full week. Here is just a small list of the things we got to do:

1. we got to see Paul Bunyan and Big Blue

2. We drove through a tree

3. They went deep sea fishing..Avah and I stayed back with the babies, but heard it was fun!

4. looked for agates at the beach. This was tons of fun and very relaxing. they aren't easy to find. I found a few, but along with the agates we got some pretty cool looking rocks. ( I have to confess these aren't the rocks we found, I got this picture off line, but really we do have rocks that look like these!!!!)

5. went to the redwoods, the pictures don't do it justice!! They are so amazing and you just feel like you are in your own little world.

6. picked and ate TONS of blackberries

7. played on the playground that Wayne played on when he was a kid

8. went to a fair

9. drove and drove some more and drove some more!!!!!!

10. got to learn more about Wayne and his childhood.
THIS WAS THE BEST PART OF IT ALL.THANKS DAD FOR THE BEST FAMILY TRIP EVER!!!!!
I think the only negative thing about the whole trip was Jarom got lazy with the whole potty training thing and so it set us back a bit. Let me just say its hard to keep him dry when you are traveling a lot and having so much fun. Jarom is very smart though. We kept him in pull ups just in case he had an accident and he learned really quick that he could go and not get his clothes wet and so that is why he got lazy.

Don't worry MEAN MOM cracked the whip when we got back and I think we are back on track.
